Warranty Policy

1. Our Commitment

Vasu Industries Pty Ltd t/a Venture Teardrops (ABN 16 667 016 677 | ACN 667 016 677) warrants to the original purchaser that our caravans are free from defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms below. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

2. Warranty Coverage

  • 2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty: Covers defects in materials and workmanship on all Vasu Industries Pty Ltd t/a Venture Teardrops manufactured components from the date of delivery.
  • 5-Year Structural Warranty: Covers the chassis, drawbar, and core structural framework for five years from delivery date.
  • Third-Party Appliances: Components not manufactured by Vasu Industries Pty Ltd t/a Venture Teardrops (e.g. Projecta, Victron, Brass Monkey fridge, Furrion audio, Hydroflow pump) are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist you in lodging claims.

2. Warranty Coverage

  • Third-Party Appliances: Components not manufactured by Vasu Industries Pty Ltd t/a Venture Teardrops (e.g. Projecta, Victron, Brass Monkey fridge, Furrion audio, Hydroflow pump) are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist you in lodging claims.

4. How to Make a Claim

  • Contact us as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering a potential defect.
  • Email: info@ventureteardrops.com.au with your name, VIN, purchase date, and a description and photos of the issue.
  • We will respond within 5 business days to assess your claim.
  • Approved warranty work will be carried out at our Dandenong facility or by an authorised service agent.
  • This warranty is ‘back to base.’ You are responsible for transporting the caravan to our facility unless we determine it is unsafe to tow.

5. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including tyres, bearings, brake linings, seals, and light bulbs
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorised modifications
  • Damage from exceeding the rated ATM, GTM, or tow ball weight
  • Use for commercial, rental, or permanent residential purposes
  • Storm damage, flood, fire, or other acts of nature
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, chips, fading) not present at delivery
  • Failure to follow the Owner’s Manual service schedule

 

6. Off-Road Use (VT Glider)

The VT Glider is rated for semi off-road use on formed gravel roads and mild tracks. Using the VT Glider on extreme off-road terrain (deep mud, rock crawling, creek crossings) beyond its designed rating will void this warranty for damage arising from such use. See the owner’s manual for terrain guidance.

7. ACL Consumer Guarantee Rights

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL provides consumer guarantees that apply regardless of this warranty, including the right to a repair, replacement, or refund for a major failure.
